The 3-day gorilla safari tour to Bwindi Forest National Park departs from Kigali with gorilla tracking in Uganda plus a complete leisure excursion on Lake Bunyonyi Island also known as the honeymoon paradise in Africa. We pick you up from Kigali city and then drop you off at a convenient destination of your choice.
Day 1: Rwanda Kigali- Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Upon arrival transfer from Kigali city to Uganda Bwindi forest National Park on a scenic drive in comfort of an air conditioned vehicle. Cross the Rwanda Uganda boarder of Katuna before proceeding to your gorilla tracking sector- Rushaga, Nkuringo, Ruhija or Buhoma.Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi forest plus a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
The long waited day comes in style and life time memories. Start the day with breakfast at the lodge, Briefing by park rangers and later the gorilla trek. Can’t predict when the trek will end but according to our recent gorilla safaris, it may take 2- 5 hours. Spend time with the lovely forest creatures, enjoy photography and later return back to your lodge for lunch. Check out and head out to Lake Bunyonyi Island for leisure and relaxation after a along day. Chill around in the peace full environment and chat with friends or explore the twenty nine islands by boat till late evening. Meals and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 3: Lake Bunyonyi Kigali
Wake up at leisure, have breakfast, sun bath before driving off to Kigali for a city tour before drop off at your preferred destination.
