TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1: Kampala- Bwindi Forest National Park
Leave Kampala for Bwindi Forest early morning to cut traffic and get to the park early enough with a lunch stops in Mbarara town at Igongo cultural Museum .Proceed to the park arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma community bandas, Gorilla friendly campsite,Nshongi gorilla camp, broadbill campsite, Haven lodge, gorilla mist camp, Trekkers Tervan,Mahogany springs, Bakiga lodge, Sanctuary forest Camp.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking tour in Bwindi Forest National Park
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest starts early morning with a briefing from the park rangers followed by the main day activity of searching for the mountain gorillas in the jungle forest. During the process, a lot of forest habitants can be seen including the giant silverback with its Family member an exciting terrific moment that you have always waited for. Photography and observation of one hour is a must but make sure, you pack the entire right trekking checklist without forgetting to put on comfortable walking shoes. If the afternoon is free a community walk waits for you, Batwa people, nature walk and waterfall visit among others. Dinner and overnight at your lodge of day one.
Day 3: Bwindi forest –Queen Elizabeth National Park
Being a busy day, after break first and leave immediately for Queen Elizabeth National park with a stop at ishasha sector for an enroute game drive to see tree climbing lions and other wildlife. After proceed to the kanzinga channel for the afternoon boat cruise and get close to hippos, birds, crocodiles ending the day with an evening game drive to spot the missed wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Pumba cottages, Bush lodge, and Mweya safari lodge.
Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking & return back to Kampala
After breakfast, enjoy the last safari moments with chimpanzees and other primates at kyambura gorge or kalinzu and later drive back to Kampala with a drop off at the agreed point.
