Day 1: Kampala-Kibale Forest National Park
Leave your hotel for Kibale forest via Fort portal arriving in the afternoon with a nature walk to the crater later. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee guest house, Chimps Nest, Primate Lodge, Kyaninga safari lodge
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
Wake up early and prepare for the day’s trek starting with breakfast, briefing followed by the trek. Expect an encounter of multiple primates such as Chimpanzee, L’Hoests, Red colobus, Vervets, Blues, Black and White Colobus, red tailed and Gary checked mangabey. Have lunch, and later spend your afternoon in a guided walk through Bigodi Swamps. There are networks of forest trails that radiate out from the visitor centre, allowing you to search for a number of species that hide away from the main road. Dinner and over night at the lodge.
Day 3: Kibale Forest- Bwindi Forest National Park
Breakfast first followed with a drive to Bwindi forest national park the best gorilla trekking destination in uganda.Drive via Queen Elizabeth National Park and takes a glance at Uganda’s abundant wildlife including tree climbing lions. rive at the park in the evening in the time for dinner at Buhoma community bandas, Gorilla friendly campsite, Nshongi gorilla camp, broadbill campsite, Haven lodge, gorilla mist camp, Trekkers Tervan, Mahogany springs, Bakiga lodge, Sanctuary forest Camp.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Forest National Park
Wake ready to meet the silverback gorilla and look into its dazzling eyes as you watch other gorilla habituated family members play and enjoy their life in the wild. The trek takes between 2-8 hours though some tourists see gorillas twice on a single trek. First during the main trek and second when chilling at their lodge of residence that is if you too lucky. A lot of other tour activities are available for those with free afternoons so no bored while in Bwindi forest. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge of residence.
Day 5: Bwindi Forest National Park-Kampala
Nothing else can be done on this day apart from having breakfast, embark on the drive with stops at the Uganda Equater, igongo cultural museum and shopping at Kayambwe Art shops. Reach in Kampala in the evening with a drop off at your agreed point.
