Day 1: Pick Up & Transfer to Kibale National park
Meet & greet with your tour guide at your lodge and later transfer to Kibale Forest National Park with stops at places of tourism interest like Amabere g’Nyinamwiru, Toro palace, Adam tree, and hike to the Crater Lake, sempaya hot springs etc.Meals and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day2: Chimpanzee Tracking& Bigodi Wetland
After a breakfast at your lodge be at the park headquarters by 8.00 am for briefing from the park rangers before starting your chimpanzee trekking experience. After entering the forest in search of the impressive chimps that look slightly like humans, prepare your camera to grab dramatic memories of them playing and wrangling in tree branches. For conservation reasons, you will only be allowed to spend one hour with chimps in observation and photography. Other primate species to expect during the trek include red colobus monkey, the blue monkey, pottos, baboons, the L’Hoest, bush babies, black-faced vervet monkeys and the grey mangabey.
Definitely your afternoon will be free to explore the well conserved Bigodi wetland and still experience much more than what you can imagaine.Meals and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 3: Departure
Today you be transferred from Kibale forest to Kampala or Entebbe international Airport for your journey back home. Otherwise you can use a few hours to do some last minute shopping or explore Kampala Night life .
