Day 1: Kibale National Park; guided primate walk in Bigodi Wetland
Begin your day adventure in Kampala with a briefing and transfer to Kibale forest National Park where you will arrive in the afternoon time for lunch at your lodge. At your lodge surrounded by the forested vegetation, your room ensures sweet dreams and be ready to wake up under the sounds of different forest habitants. Explore the Bigodi wetland in the afternoon and end the day with fabulous memories of the wetland. Night stay at your lodge.
Day 2: Full day chimpanzee habituation experience plus other primates
Enjoy very early breakfast around and head to the park headquarters to start the habituation process. Remember chimps are early risers and you have to start the day together. Enjoy the interesting interpretation of chimp’s nature and life style by park rangers as you move through the forest. You will also see many other primate species and forest habitants. Lunch will be had in forest until late evening when the chimps retire for the day. The evening after the habituation process will be spend at your lodge of residence chilling with friends and having chats about the magical day with the fast moving and loud voice making primates of Kibale forest national park. Night stay and dinner at your lodge.
Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today you will transfer by road to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after breakfast via Queen Elizabeth National Park with an enroute stop in Ishasha for lunch and also take a look at tree climbing lions another highlight of most Uganda safari tours. Arrive to the park in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge of residence.
Day 4: Gorilla Tracking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
The day’s gorilla trek begins with a briefing from the park rangers, then a guided nature walk in search of the beautiful endangered primates-Mountain gorillas. This is where you will meet up face to face with the giant silver back gorilla and others and enjoy watching them move around, play and jump up on tree branches. Spend a full hour observing these incredible creatures and later return back to the lodge for leisure.
In the afternoon the trip continues by car to the one and only Lake Bunyonyi Island to experience the detailed culture of the Batwa people, or engage in different leisure activities like swimming, boat ride, sun bathing, hiking and much more. Overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 5: Return to Kampala – Entebbe
After a wonderful primate safari experience, it’s time to go back to Kampala or back home and share the great memories with friends and Family.
