Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kampala
This is a day reserved for arrival into the country and transfer to your lodge for an overnight stay. Meals and overnight at Fat cats backpackers, or Kampala Backpackers
Day 2: Kampala-Murchison Falls National Park
Begin the day with breakfast before driving to Murchison falls National Park stop at ziwa Rhino sanctuary for lunch a place that is naturally conserved for Rhinos , track the Rhinos before continuing to the park where you will see other wildlife . s. Chill and relax before enjoying dinner under the moonlight and campfire at Heritage Safari Lodge and Red chill Rest Camp.
Day 3: Morning Game drive & afternoon boat cruise plus a hike to the top of the falls
Be ready for the morning game drive by 6: 30 am in order to catch up with early risers and for great wildlife viewing possibilities. Among the few wildlife to be spotted include, lions, leopards, elephants, Giraffes, waterbucks, Buffaloes, kobs, topis, etc returning back to your lodge for breakfast and lunch. Afternoon head out for the exciting boat cruise to the bottom of the falls and hike to the top of the fall after enjoying the fight between water and rocks in the presence of hippos and crocodiles. Later have an optional evening game drive before returning back to your lodge or campsite for diner and overnight stay at Heritage Safari Lodge and Red chill Rest Camp.
Day 4: Transfer from Murchison falls- Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up ready for the scenic drive to another Uganda best wildlife park arriving late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Pumba cottages, UWA Bandas, or Kazinga Channel View Resort
Day 5: Morning game drive and afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat cruise
Take a morning cup of tea before heading out for the morning game drive and meet up with other wildlife that you might have missed like : lions, cape buffalos, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, spotted hyenas, mangoose, kobs and, if you are lucky, the leopard is often spotted. Over 606 bird species have been recorded in this park and most notably along the Kazinga channel. Return for a full breakfast, relax and prepare for yet another exciting activity in the afternoon. After lunch you will transfer to enjoy a unique two hours boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This launch cruise gives you a great opportunity for photography, animal and bird watching at close range. Overnight at Pumba cottages, UWA Bandas, or Kazinga Channel View Resort
Day 6: Morning game drive at ishasha sector-Lake Bunyonyi island
Enjoy the last memories of Queen Elizabeth with a morning game drive at ishasha sector famous for tree climbing lions, followed by a drive to Lake Bunyonyi Island the famous island for honeymoon and leisure. Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Eco resort,Byoona Amagara Island Retreat
Day 7: Full day at Lake Bunyonyi Island
Spend the all day at leisure exploring the historic islands of the lake on a leisure boat cruise, visit the Batwa people, sunbath, swim and enjoy the cool fresh winds of the lake. Meals and overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Eco resort,Byoona Amagara Island Retreat
Day 8: Bunyonyi-Kampala
Leave the amazing island for Kampala with a stop at stop at Igongo Cultural Center for typical African buffet and another stop at Uganda Equator crossing Kayabwe for amazing photo shoots where one leg would be in the southern hemisphere and the other in the northern hemisphere. Be in Kampala late evening with a drop off at your agreed place.
