Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Kampala
Just send us your flight details and will pick you up in time upon arrival and transfer you to your lodge of residence in Kampala. Meals and overnight stay at Cassia lodge, Hotel Africana, Holiday Express Hotel
Day 2: Transfer to Jinja for a city Tour
Wake up ready to explore Uganda’s second capital city and another interesting tourism capital of Uganda. There is a lot to see and explore during this trip starting with Sezibwa falls, Mabira falls, and source of the Nile, Itanda falls, and Bujagali falls among others. Evening return back to Kampala for an overnight stay at your lodge of day one.
Day 3: Kampala-Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will be met at your residential hotel by your driver guide who will drive you to the best wildlife viewing national park in Uganda where you will spend the next 2 days enjoying several tour adventures. This charming park is situated in the foothills of Mt Rwenzori in green savanna grassland and plains that stretch to two beautiful lakes Edward and George. Stop overs can’t miss in the scenic drive due to many impressive roadside attractions, lunch and Mother Nature calls. Have an evening game drive before dinner and overnight stay at Pumba Cottages, Bush Lodge, Enganzi lodge, Katara lodge, Mweya safari lodge
Day 4: Game viewing & Boat Cruise
You day starts with a drive to Kasenyi area a famous place for roaming park wildlife including Buffaloes, lions, kobs, elephants, leopards,topis, bush bucks and many others. This is done in safari vans with a pop up ideal for photography and animal viewing. After head back to the lodge for breakfast, and lunch before leaving for another exciting tour adventure on the beautiful Kazinga channel famous for birds, wildlife, hippos and crocodiles. Have an optional evening game drive before returning back to your lodge for overnight stay and dinner.
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking, tree climbing lion –Bwindi forest
This is an exciting day, have breakfast, track chimpanzees and drive to ishasha sector for an enroute game drive to see tree climbing lions before proceeding to Bwindi forest National Park .Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma community rest camp, Have lodge Bwindi, Mahogany springs, Sanctuary Gorilla forest camp
Day 6: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park
Come rain or sunshine, after breakfast, you leave your lodge for morning gorilla trekking that starts with briefing from the park rangers followed by a forest walk into the forest from where the gorillas spent a night before the trek. This interesting walk takes you direct to where the gorillas are an experience you will never forget. Spend a full good hour with them admiring there creation, beauty and character. Later leave the jungle forest back to your lodge for some rest and as you think of what suits your afternoon among the cultural tour, nature walk and village visit. Meals and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 7: Bwindi –Lake Bunyonyi Island
Enjoy the last memories of Bwindi forest with a faty breakfast as you admire incredible views of the jungle before, driving to Lake Bunyonyi Island the famous island for honeymoon and leisure. Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Eco resort,Byoona Amagara Island Retreat ,Birds Nest Lodge
Day 8: Full day at Lake Bunyonyi Island
Spend the all day at leisure exploring the historic islands of the lake on a leisure boat cruise, visit the Batwa people, sunbath, swim and enjoy the cool fresh winds of the lake. Meals and overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Eco resort,Byoona Amagara Island Retreat, Birds Nest Lodge
Day 9: Bunyonyi-Kigali city
Leave the amazing island for Kigali city Rwanda’s capital and spend an afternoon exploring Rwanda capital before retiring for the day. Meals and overnight stay at Chez lando hotel, sports view hotel, Kigali Serena hotel.
Day 10: Kigali- Volcanoes national Park
You will be picked up at your hotel and start your approximate 3 hour journey to volcanoes National Park. However, the Kigali city tour will open up the journey arriving to the park in the afternoon with a visit to Ibiwachu culture village for Rwanda cultural exposure before dinner and overnight stay at Muhabura lodge, kinigi guest house, Mountain gorilla view lodge
Day 11: Golden monkey Trek & Transfer to Lake Kivu
Breakfast, Golden monkey trek in volcanoes national park followed by transfer to back to Lake Kivu the famous Rwanda beach destination and best place for relaxation and leisure. Enjoy breath taking sceneries of Rwanda hills, Virunga Mountains and vegetation. Proceed to the shores with an afternoon boat ride before dinner and overnight stay at Water front Resort, Paradise Malahide, Lake Kivu Serena Hotel.
Day 12: Full day leisure at Lake Kivu
This day will excite you and make you enjoy Rwanda more than before with variety of leisure activities that the lake has to offer. Day 13: Lake Kivu-Kigali
